The Guranbignoth Amulet

The mystical Guranbignoth Amulet was introduced in ElamenSTAR's episode Curse of the Guranbignoth. It is one of the great legacy weapons of the Magic Rune Knights, and thus a sacred item.

Its power is mainly known as a curse due to its fickleness: it chooses its next wielder at random, and has once chosen someone from another realm entirely in a currently-non-canonical episode of ElamenSTAR, Mayumi. When its next wielder comes from another world, the amulet drags the wearer into Battal; until the knight's destiny is fulfilled, it will not let them return. Most see the curse as a genuine curse, ripping them from their loved ones. Mayumi, however, was sent to a world where her long-supressed antisocial impulses could be unleashed upon hordes and hordes of monsters.

When wielded by a mystic rune knight, the Guranbignoth amulet becomes a magical weapon suitable to his temprament and preferred combat style. Most shapes it has held are those of a longsword, rapier, or the occasional axe. Mayumi's was a heading sword (a massive two-handed sword with a rounded tip, typically used to execute Paladins that have fallen from grace) decorated with dove's feathers, simply titled "Dove's Judgement."

The amulet itself looks rather tacky and wearing it prominently is seen as a faux pas in polite circles that are unusually brave about pointing out magical warriors as comitting a faux pas.
