Gyydeions

A small offshoot race of Men, who are similar to them in most ways, except for being 1/10th the size and having flying abilities. Gyydeions have a complex religion which governs most of their behavior. Mostly it involves trying to get into a good version of one of their many Afterlife Realms.

Thus, Gyydeions spend much of their lives trying to do good deeds. Because of their size, they're not much help at being anything but guides, teachers, messengers, or really tiny artists. The average Gyydeion throws itself into their life's work, looking for traveling heroes or villains to assist by keeping track of equipment, collecting information, and constantly reminding that they should be listened to.

Sadly prone to eliciting shouts of "Stop Helping Me!" from put upon adventurers, since they actually tend to be more annoying than helpful. Their agility and small size makes it difficult to kill them, though.

King T'n'r famously had an entire team of Gyydeion assistants that helped him throughout most of his life, although he eventually had to consume them all when he was trapped in a freak snowstorm in the countryside.
