Hail High Lourde Chancelroy (Oh, What a Tragedy!)
Often sung at wakes and children's birthday parties, "Hail High Lourde Chancelroy (Oh, What a Tragedy!)" is singularly unique in that its lyrics praise a man universally despised by all the peoples of Battal. In fact, the final refrain of "High Lourde Chancelroy, eh what a chap?" is usually followed by shouts of "right bastard!" and an uncomfortable amount of spitting.
Regrettably, no one's really quite sure who High Lourde Chancelroy is, or why he's both praised and despised (usually in the same breath). No records of a High Lourde Chancelroy actually exist, and just about everyone insists that he came from some other bloke's country.
