Hardium

Hardium is almost the hardest natural material on Battal short of Peep Eggs and is only found in small quantities on Elddim's Peak. Hardium can be seperated into its five isotopes Hardium, Really Hardium, Extremely Hardium, Epically Hardium (aka Adamantine) and Notreallyhardiumatallium (the scientists weren't very creative with the names) using various forge techniques all involving epic heat. Hardium is nigh indestructible, heat resistant, magic resistant, cold resistant... well basically resistant to everything. It is so resistant to magic that the metal cannot be enchanted at all. The metal itself is super dense and has a dark blue tint to it.

Scientists speculate that Hardium was created in The Unsundering as that is the only event short of a Giant Meteoric Cow that would have enough energy to create this super dense material, also Elddim's Peak was created in the Unsundering which added credence to this theory. Only enough Hardium was ever found to create a shield called The Intransigent Shield which was wielded to greatest effect by Lyta A'lon, descendant of Welregar of Ebonshire and Lady B'gt'ts and wielder of the Triskaidekaphilia, who was bright enough to realize that only the shield was nigh indestructible.
