ElemenstorLance: The Hierarchs of Dawn
This novel centers around the trials of the Vuksveufa in The Hierarchy Era during the time of the Million Year War. In these tenuous times of strife, the religous leaders of the Vales had great difficulty in keeping the populace faithful to the Hierarchs. The stage is set in this novel for the Vuksveufen Schism that will occur later in the wake of the horrifying Vampyric Wars.
Though quite bland and uninteresting, this novel is considered to be analagous to the Silmarillion of ELotH:TES (though your average fan of ELotH might get a bit miffed about yet another LotR reference), which is yet another testament to how boring it is. Still, it is considered an essential part of the ELotH canon, as it gives insight into the beliefs of Orthodox Vuksveufa and thus the origins of Battal itself.
The plot of the novel is more or less inconsequential, and features a pair of Orthodox Vuksveufains, Elder Barn and Elder Goobins, who are attempting to spread the word of the Hierarchs. The ending hints that these two were actually so boring that they effectively caused an aberration of Timenes that causes the Darkrift to open at the end of the Million Year War, as well as the book itself. This is considered by many fans of ELotH to be the worst ending ever.

There seem to be two versions of this page, an https (secure?) version and an http version. They're both identical otherwise. What is the reason for that?
