Hopea

As mentioned in Morwid's Guide to Barely Mentionable Out-of-the-Way Fiefdoms, Hopea is a small outlying province on the borders of Cream-controlled country in northeastern Sickle.

Several tracts of arable land and a few tiny hamlets are dominated by Castle Hopea, a giant ostentatious granite edifice which flies the 22 overwraught flags of Hopea above its battlements.

Within the borders of Hopea can be found the poorly-named valley, Mont Skyfinger.

Most notably, Hopea was the base of operations of Lord Hopebane throughout the Tides of Epic Conflict Saga.

Hopea in Fan Fiction

For some reason Hopea is a very popular location for bizarrely tangential fan fiction.

• Hopea is often depicted as a desert
• Hopea is often depicted as having an airport
• Lord Hopebane is often referred to as "Lard" Hopebane

More proof that the internet is stranger than fiction. Or that internet fiction is stranger than... hmm... just about everything.
