Know the Flame

This gear allows an Elemenstor to find fires near him, and feel how large and strong they are from a distance. After the flame gets large enough, this becomes a moot point, as you can feel and see fire, gear or no gear. Many are baffled as to why this gear is used for Fire, instead of an intangible element, like Air or Death. The usual reponse from grizzled Elemenstors is 'Well, ya see, it all started when...' followed by an incoherent ramble, and entry into some kind of defensive coma.

Although the gear is usually non-damaging, it can also be used to, oddly enough, shoot flames out of the strikers ears. The origin of this application, or even the intended purpose, is totally unkown.
