Lackobacillus

Harmful bacteria which kills all who eat it and is not actually used in any dairy industry. Mentioned several places in The Elemenstor Cycle as something that has crept or been put into the food, often with the intent of assassination. Lackobacillus by the time of the rise of the Elemenstors is largely impossible to find but anecdotally it is still well known and referenced. In Book 3, Dthr'nex tells the tale of Mort and the Yogurt of Doom to Steppy.
