Item Law #107

Power of Invisibility Law

1. Any magical Item may bestow the power of invisibility to:
1. Nothing at all
2. Both the User and the User's clothes
3. A person or persons other than the user, provided that his/her/their resulting invisibility/non-invisibility state is equal to that of his/her/their clothes.
4. An Item may be used which grants invisibility to only the user if the user is of a species or culture in which nudity is appropriate.
5. Articles (1.b.) and (1.c.) are conditionally void as outlined in Item Law 108.
6. A building or container so long as the contents of said building/container are invisible from outside the building/container, yet visible from within the building/container.
7. An object that is neither a person nor clothes nor a building or container.
8. Itself.
1. Items that are permanently invisible must follow Law 400.
2. Transgressions of this law shall be punished by:
1. In the case of invisible clothes and a visible user, the user will be stripped naked and lead through the nearest town square.
2. In the case of visible clothes and a invisible user, the user's entire body will be cut off.
3. In the case of a building/container for which the contents are visible from both without and within the offending item will be:
1. Carted off if it be a building.
2. Burnt down if it be a container.
4. In the case of a building/container for which the contents are visible from neither without or within the user will be sealed inside unable to find the exit.
5. In the case of a building/container for which the contents are invisible from within yet visible from without the user will be sealed inside and all members of the Item Law Makers Guild will come to personally laugh at them.
6. In all cases of transgression the entire world will be made invisible to the items creator, while the item's creator will remain visible to world, this enchantment is known as "gouging their eyes out".
