Item Law #154

 

Range of Item Stat Effects Law

 

  1. Items that are currently owned by a person shall continue to bestow their stat boosting/unboosting effects on said person even while not in contact with said person, unless otherwise defined by the abilities of the item.
    1. Owned Items are defined in Law 8
    2. Stats are defined as intrinsic attributes of the owner such as but not limited to:
      1. Appearance including Body Size and Shape
      2. Intelligence
      3. Charisma
      4. Strength
      5. Dexterity
      6. Stamina
      7. Wisdom
      8. Perception
    3. Stats do not include intrinsic abilities and attributes of the item in question such as but not limited to:
      1. Damage
      2. Defense
      3. Monetary Value
      4. Range
    4. Contact is defined as touching the person's skin or with in a proximity of at least 2 gesundheits unless otherwise stated by the items abilities.
  2. If the item leaves the immediate area of the owner the stat boosting effects will disappear but will return when the owner returns to the immediate area of the item, unless otherwise defined by the abilities of the item.
    1. Immediate area is defined as either:
      1. Within the Visible Area of the owner
        1. Visible Area is defined as all areas in which the ower could potentially see the item if they were looking that direction.
      2. Within the Building and/or Structure that the owner is in
      3. Which ever distance is farther is the distance that is dominant for this Law
