Item Law #172

Not Everything You Eat is Edible Clause.

  1. Inedible items which are enchanted and eaten but not enchanted in such a way to make them edible will not violate Laws 54, 55 or 60.

Notes

Examples of this sort of activity are rare, however it is notible that Throbald the Somewhat Addled, in a surprising twist, once accidentally swallowed the Ring of Surprising Twists, confusing it for a very silver peanut. Indeed, his confusion may be explained by the constant offering of said nuts by Fregor the Untruthful. The fact that he chose to eat large handfuls of the tasty legumes in spite of constant warnings from Gorsald the Pedantic of Fregor's shenanegans suggests that the confusion is, in this case, not completely internal. It also gives rise to the rumors that Throbald is not just addled, but bloody-minded as well.
