Item Law #191

Evil Inverse Accuracy Law

  1. The accuracy of items enchanted by evil means or for evil purposes shall decrease according to the degree of their evilness.
    1. The more shots, spells, gears, strikes (etc) are used, the less likely they will hit anyone or do any real damage.
    2. Those that actually hit shall usually a flesh wound in the shoulder or arm, which restricts the target from doing anything more strenuous than driving, using ranged weapons, using melee weapons, invoking difficult magics, or doing complex martial arts maneuvres.
  2. In the case that an evil weapon falls into the hands of a non-evil bearer during the heat of battle, the item shall become much more powerful and accurate (particularly if this new owner is especially benevolent and incompetent).
