Fraudulent Notices of Item Law

  1. Any person who, with or without fraudulent intent, states in regard to any Item a notice of compliance with Item Laws or words of the same purport that such person does or does not know to be false, or who, with or without fraudulent intent, publicly or privately distributes or imports for public or private distribution any Item bearing such notice or words that such person knows or does not know to be false, shall be subject to full punishment under the Item Laws.
  2. Any person who, with or without fraudulent intent, removes or alters any notice of Item Law compliance appearing in regard to the compliance of an existing Item with Item Laws shall be subject to greater that full punishment under the Item Laws.
