Item Law #41

Specific and Nonspecific Law Consistency Clause

  1. All laws shall be consistent and shall not contradict each other
    1. This applies especially to Law 310.
  2. This law shall be void in such cases that (1) creates a paradox.
  3. Penalty for mentioning, use of, or attempted use of the laws in an inconsistent way is 1 (one) week in the stocks or beheading at the the Item Law Makers Guild's discretion.

Notes

In practice this is mainly used to work around the restrictions of Law 310

The Item Law Makers Guild usually chooses beheading to save wear and tear on their stocks, so the law tends to be used consistently.
