Item Law #62

Inherited Items

1. Any item inherited from someone who dies of non-natural causes must be used to avenge their death within 30 days.
1. Said avenging must somehow involve an accidental or rather elaborate death (ex: foe runs onto sword and eyes bug out, tea kettle knocks out foe, causing him to fall off rickety rope bridge, etc).
2. Relevant pithy remarks are generally a good idea as the foe dies.
3. A new Deed of ownership must be submitted to the Item Law Makers Guild within 15 days of getting said item and also avenging the "someone" referenced to in section 1.
2. If in possesion of an inherited item, you must be secretive about its origins for a good while.
1. A good while is defined as a period of time not less than that required for any member of your peers to have no interest in your rambling tale of its aquisition
