The Long Valley

A green valley that sits between The Smoos to the west and The Ultracraggoths to the east in the land of The Sickle. The lands of the northern valley are green and fertile. Centrally located is a plateau known as Alfan, the slopes of the walls are said to be virtually unscalable. Leading south from Alfan is the Happy Trail, a sparsely forested path which bisects the Great Garbagelands south of Alfan which extend all the way to the Vadime Depths, in the far south.

It known to be a breeding ground for Gnarled Land Squid and once a year becomes a place of feast for both hawkfalcons and falconhawks.

The Long Valley is also known to the Smoo as "Agh-na'fwa Booweh-nn Esch" or:

"the place of horrible taloned death during summer evenings when the moon is full and the ground swells with squirmy things".
