Back to Great War Men

High Axebloodchief LurZ

Also See: Higgerath. Siege of Arkleaf.

LurZ son of Ul'ri'K the Great Rockbone Pounderchieftain before Th'qrK, many expected him to someday succeed his father at the helm of the Rock-Hitters clan. LurZ however was always more comfortable with the fast and furious almost poetic actions of bloodletting and slashing, preferring a sharper, lighter, faster axe in his hand over the weight of a meaty stick capable of pounding things. He was more than happy to see Th'qrK take up his father's axe that fateful day on the battlefield and left the Rock-Hitters clan to roam freely for a time, before joining up with the Axebloods.

Sho'kurung'o, Stab Axe

A light, fast axe designed to slash and stab and cut rather than chop and bludgeon. The wielder must posses a strong wrist and a good sense of rhythm to fling and swing Sho'kurung'o with maximum effect. The totem badge of office in the Axebloods clan, few among the War Men past and present have ever wielded it with the tenacity of LurZ.

The Axebloods Clan

A typical example of a War Man clan, they enjoy the bleeding of their foes and the drinking of their ale although they find it somewhat tasteless and flat compared to Doomwine. The clan shares many commonalities with the Bloodrinkers and the Bloodletters clan, namely their intense, overpowering Bloodlustiness and pride in savage attacks that spill the blood of their enemies in ever more gruesome ways.

Exploits

  • Disappoints his father by being unspectacular at breaking rocks
  • Perhaps because of his, works even harder to perfect his slashing strokes
  • Proves himself a competent warrior, garnering some respect from his father Ul'ri'K
  • 17,930 - Ul'ri'K felled in battle. Rockbone passes to Th'qrK
  • Leaves the Rock-Hitters clan shortly after the battle, wandering for a time
  • Joins the Axebloods after becoming caught up in one of their skirmishes
  • 17,933 - Takes possession of Sho'kurung'o
  • 17,934 - Leads the Axebloods alongside the almost-sister Bloodrinkers clan. Together they unleash Ten Years of Useless Bloodshed
