Lurking in the Shadows
The Wizbits, Episode 303
Aired 22nd September, 2001
Summary
It's late at night, and The Wizbits are forced to make camp in an abandoned lighthouse. However, it quickly becomes apparent that they are not the only people there. Who could be staying in this lighthouse with them; the War Men? MooMaa? The answer, of course, is lurking in the shadows.
Moral
Lander: When it's dark out, it can get pretty scary. You might even imagine things that aren't there. If this happens to you, just wrap a blanket around your head and breathe deeply. You'll be fine!
Notes
This episode, like many others, was controversial because of the moral at the end of the show. Several children are reported to have asphyxiated themselves trying it.
In another departure from the Japanese version, this was an episode which depicted the Dark Four again. Instead, any place where they stood was inked over with inky black darkness, and rather than translating their lines a whispery raspy sound played when those characters would have been speaking.

| It was controversial, I think, because the original run of it ended with "If this happens to you, just wrap a plastic bag around your head and breath deeply. You'll be fine!". The voice that says "...blanket" in the edited version is obviously not the same character. (Wonder who it was?) - xC0000005 |
