Mandleclang

Near the middle of the The Shield, west of the Wang Mountains, nestled within a wide valley, is the land of Mandleclang. The city of Middleclang is its capital. The Mandleclang River runs through the valley, past Middleclang and out into the sea.

Founded in the Olde Tymes before the coming of the first Magic Sword Kings, Mandleclang rose to great prominence as the seat of power of King Ronard, who ruled all of Battal as High King of The Kings Council.

After the Vampyric Wars, the role of Mangleclang gradually decreased in importance, but this suited the population of farmers, merchants, and traders quite well as they enjoyed prospering is sleepy anonymity. Still, its historic past ensured that epic events and trials would happen throughout these lands, if only for the reason that Middleclang lay there. Mandleclang is often refered to as the "Mincing Kingdom", due to the high popularity of Minced Meats as a staple of the native's diets. Post-sundering events in Mandleclang set the stage for the events of The Mincing Kingdom, one of the earliest novels of The ElemenstorLance Series.

This valley, though close to the home of the dreaded Deathrider Ninja Clan in Graha has seen relatively peaceful times due to its geographical isolation from the other lands. Even the dreaded ninjas seem uninterested in this valley.

It is from this land that the latter-day tales of Dogus Brankorking and his binge drinking took place at the Pig's Annoyance, and Ulfulaz the Historian wrote his chronicle of The Burnten'ed Times.
