Descritpion

Minaka the Pungent is usually depicted as a corpse with wavy lines indicating smell coming from it. She is usually described as an undead Cohoris female, who may have been beautiful in life but is dressed in brown clothes and is the process of decaying who also smells to high heaven. Minaka the Pungent tries to hang out with the other Cohoris Deities but they always come up with some excuse to leave her behind. She would desperately love some companionship but the incredibly horrible smell and her decaying appearance make it impossible (unless you were some sort of necrophiliac).

Prayers and sacrifices are made to Minaka the Pungent at the funerals of the Cohoris. Also sweet smelling incense is buried with the dead so that they may smell better than Minaka in the afterlife. Other than at funerals, Minaka the Pungent is rarely mentioned.
