Mists over Blee

Mists over Blee was an ambitious Neverwinter Nights campaign that appeared on the Neverwinter Vault for a few months in 2002. It was created by two longtime fans of the series, and occasional fan fiction writers, Todd Carlyle and Richard Fleetman.

The campaign basically centered around a young Elemenstor and his Ottoman Furniliar as they travelled through the ruins of the ancient capital of Blee, and discover an evil Vampyre who has been slumbering there for thousands of years. Accidentally awakening the evil being, they are forced to team up with other NPCs to eventually overcome and destroy the Vampyre lord before he can raise an evil army in the Ruins of Blee.

This mod was also interesting in that it also tried to answer the question as to what became of Nhek'miggon'uil the Sword of Redoubled Reslaying, one of the mystical 100 Swords of Sepathok. In the campaign, it is the only blade that can harm the dark Vampyre lord, who as an evil undead Dark Elemenstor, is only vulnerable to its powers.

Though no timeframe is officially mentioned within the campaign, the few who played it generally agree that it takes place within the time period of Book 3, based on the few hints in the dialogue, and the general appearance of ruined Blee.

The module proved to be rather popular, but was eventually taken down for unknown reasons. Fleetman and Carlyle were fairly cryptic about the reasons, but it was generally assumed it was removed to be tweaked for a version 2.0 release. This never occured, and it led a few to believe that they ran into legal trouble over the game.
