Mondowondomicon
The Mondowondomicon was a tome supposedly containing great secrets, written during The Hierarchy by an Ooamp in the Ooampian Tongue. A translation was attempted by Fibrino VIII in 343 TMSK, however, Fibrino only managed to translate the text into an intermediary language, of his own design. Fibrino died before publishing a treatise on this language, which he called "Fibrinoese."
In 21,832 TRotE, after millenia of intense research and study, Elemenstor scholars were able to construct a crude linguistic key to Fibrinoese. With great anticipation, they translated the first two lines of the Mondowondomicon into the Plaincommon tongue:
1 Slansoap swats the sleeping swillow, but Slenkle is sworn to slap the swatch for slabs.
2 My slump sweats slowly.
The new translation was abandoned at this point.
