Description

Mongaard is one of the chief deities in Dwarven pantheon, like Frimarillion neither created nor born but existing from all eternity. Depicted as a jovial young dwarf with the most epic beard known to dwarf entwined with vines and flowers. Mongaard is the father of Saturkaz, Tuessus, and Wednesrok due to a fling with Frimarillion.

His prime sphere of influence is growing. A deity of growing would be pretty unpopular among a race which can't distinguish between two ends of a potato, however it is Mongaard's other aspect that makes him quite popular. He is the patron of growing the fundamental part of dwarf culture - BEARDS.

Both male, female, and dwarf dwarves wear beards and sacrifice its modeling, coloration and washing to Mongaard. Every day, at least one prayer to him is muttered per dwarven capita. Rare dwarven farmers also pray to him, usually when they want to stop being farmers. The Dwarven day of Monday is dedicated to him.
