Most Epic and Climactic Battle of the War of Unlight

Introduction

The battle to end all battles of the Unlight War, the Most Epic and Climactic Battle of the War of Unlight saw the forces of good triumph against the Vampyre Armies in the year 27,521. Even with the Wand of Unlight, Vhadxi and Mo-pi could not stop The Army of Elves and Allies from advancing on The Clockwork Fortress. Eventually, both Vhadxi and Mo-pi are killed in a most epic fashion.

Details and Events

Note: the following scenes are so epic they must be absorbed in point form. Epic, I tell you!

"Don't leave me, Falconriders!" screamed Tuck, as they gurgled blood into the dark air.

"We had a good run ..." spluttered the captain. "Now you make sure ... we win this battle!"

The captain dropped to the ground.

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" screamed the Dim Elf regent. The battle had only just begun. --The Dawn of Unlight's Setting, Part 2: Victory's Deathknell

  • The Twelve Twisted Evil had crafted 10,000 Fell Blades for the Vampyre armies. Instead of wielding these blades, the vampyres used composite longbows designed for Giants to fire a hailstorm of sword-rain upon the brave men of Goldimaris Irregulars, who were all mutilated beyond recognition, and then promptly totally obliterated by the Elemenchasm (see below) in a 10,000 giant-tall cloud of blood and Unlight shaped like a screaming vampyre skull. Now that's cool.

  • The cogs and beams of The Clockwork Fortress begin to bend and warp under the weight of all the Elements filling the voidspace that the DreamSpire had previously used as a medium for invading the dreams of its prisoners. As the cogs and gears burst out of the walls, and roll/fly out into the dark Unlight that is permeating around the fortress, all the nightmares and half remembered fragments from the outer planes that the DreamSpire had ever been a medium for shoot upwards into the sky, filling the blood-smoke clouds that had amassed about the tower with all howling spirit faces that had ever been, and their enormous, dream-proportioned Famous Weapons.

  • The Wand of Unlight falls out of Mo-pi's hand as he flies out through the thick sides of the fortress, and the other three Grand Elemenstors fire beams of pure Elementation at it, just as Vhadxi fires a beam of his own amatuerish yet extremely powerful Elemenstation from the spire of The Clockwork Fortress. The streams cross just as the volume of pervading Unlight in the atmosphere reaches its critical point, and a huge Elemenchasm rips open, swallowing bodies of the dead and living within a raging tempest containing every element that had ever existed, or would exist, if it wasn't already being thrown around in large amounts in this particular battle.

Notes

  • Quailheart never gets to the battle. It is assumed he is getting it on with a hot elf.

Phew, I'm exhausted ... this is just way too epic for me. I know I'm not the only one that read The Dawn of Unlight's Setting, Part 2: Victory's Deathknell and the companion factorial booksets ...

Woot! This battle was perhaps one of the most epic of all battles of the ElemenstorLance novels
