Name Finders

The namefinders are an offshoot of the Item Law Makers Guild. Comprised almost entirely of newly christened Elemenstors that can't find work doing anything else, the Name Finders are tasked with searching through hundreds of thousands of tomes, checking and double checking and cross-referencing and double cross-referencing item names to help find new available names. This helps assure that newly created items have unique names, which in turn lets them comply with the High Ultimate Item Law book of Item Laws. The young Elemenstors from the different schools look in their respective Name Tomes to check newly submitted item name applications or name changes.

Elemenstors work as Name Finders for as long as they are needed, but the ILMG usually they only keep them there for a few months, so as not to give anyone enough time to learn more than is prudent about the ILMG.
