Necroloks

"If you ever see one, chances are you're dead, brought back to life, and killed a second time, just for fun, already. My suggestion is to lie back and enjoy your next few deaths." - Teve Torbs, lesser monster biologist

The Necroloks are mind-bogglingly powerful warlocks who dabble in the lost and arcane arts and sciences of Necrography, a power combining Death Elemenstation with that of geomancy. By carefeully arranging ley lines of Death magic, they can create deadly nexi surging with the most wicked of undead. The Nekroloks themselves draw power from these ley lines and the undead that spring up from under them.

While they are deadly, the Necroloks had little direct effect on the history of Battal, as most never left seeing range of their necrographic ley lines, as outside their influence they were nothing more than well-trained scholars and swordsmen. Despite being herded into small routes, they contributed much to the knowledge of wicked magics and sorceries. They are responsible for the forging of Ecto-Swords, numerous gears of the Death element, and more than a few explorations into The Unspeakable and other dim knowledges.

Their champion, Isther, was a veritable walking landmine of evil knowledge and delicious teas. It was his deadly blade, pusisant magic, and devilishly tasty chai that earned the Necroloks a place in the more interesting footnotes of history.

Most Necroloks exist in the Valley That Has To Be Different.
