Nhek'miggon'uil, the Sword of Redoubled Reslaying

Forged by Gragnakas from the precious but extremely boring metal Redundantium when he ran out of Apostrophine, Nhek'miggon'uil was a collaborative effort by the Forge-King and two Chronosorcellors, the inverted twins Jacob and Macob. The result was a weapon which would destroy absolutely anyone or anything provided that they had already died at least twice before, and would totally fail to harm anyone else. Still, utility was not Gragnakas's first concern, and it was given to Selent with the others.

Sepathok's exploits with the sword were decidedly brief. He had great fun stabbing at strangers, causing them to become very scared as they did not realize the sword would not harm them. This backfired one day when he stabbed a much-revered head of state who was loved so very much that his constituency has resurrected him twice from untimely death. Sepathok reportedly mumbled a short apology and ran away, leaving the noble to die.

At some point, it was owned by the Weird Thing, who used it to kill Shezdor. It is unknown how the Weird Thing achieved this however, given the known attributes of Nhek'miggon'uil.

Most notably, Nhek'miggon'uil was used by the mighty tragic hero of the Siege of Trembaloo, Navrid the Unscrupulously Heroic, to slay the arch-fiend Phgoorikus. Navrid and his plucky companions fought an epic battle with Phgoorikus on the Mountain of A'aa, in the Howling Mountains and bested him, only to have him return to life in a larger, uglier, and much more powerful 'true form'. Another battle ensued, even more epic than the first, but Navrid's comrades prevailed once more. This prompted Phgoorikus to reveal yet another, even more absurdly powerful 'true form'. Defeat seemed inevitable, until Navrid, with what his comrades would later describe as 'a really shifty smirk', casually drew Nhek'miggon'uil and stabbed the towering fiend in the big toe, destroying him utterly.

The origin of Nhek'miggon'uil's name is a slight mystery. Gragnakas likely threw a bunch of letters together until it looked nice. This sword is also one of the few that simply dropped out of the canon never to be seen again; after its final wielder disappeared into a deep crevasse in the Howling Mountains, the sword stopped getting mentioned. A Neverwinter Nights module called Mists over Blee attempted to answer the mystery, but the module isn't considered canon in itself, so the question still remains.
