The Wizbits, Episode 105
Aired 12 October, 1999
Summary
Taking their leave of Vel Jinglefist, the gang follow the Northern Farway towards their destination: the Castle of Drafty Winds.
However, before they can reach their destination, they'll have to contend with the Sw'ftfl'w River, and its Riddlefond Guardian -- can the Wizbits survive a duel of wits with the quickest mouth in the sundered world?
Moral
Penny: Today, we had to cross a river without a boat. Skip had bought a rope on town, but he buyed the cheapest rope. Obviously, the rope broke in the middle of the river, so we had to swim for our lives. Remember. You get what you pay for. So always buy expensive stuff. You will be glad later.
Notes
There is some confusion regarding the authorship of this episode; the opening credits list it as being written by Jerry Chang, while the closing credits claim it was Calvin Spunting. The two writers are reportedly involved in a legal battle over the episodes residuals.
This episode is the beginning of the series of so-called "monocle episodes" where Professor Dervmont is depicted wearing a monocle. No explaination is offered in the American version of the series as to where the monocle comes from, nor where it goes when it just as mysteriously stops appearing three episodes later. The well remembered Good Heavens, Child! decal is taken from a cell in this episode.
| We at Realmworlds appreciate your interest as fans of the Wizbits and the associated world of the Elemenstor Universe (TM), but unfortunately, no official comment can be made on the pending lawsuits of Mr. Chang and Mr. Spunting, who are both suing Realmworlds Publishing. -- Tyge Ottesen Realmworlds Publishing Legal Intern |
