Northern Farway

The Northern Farway is thus named because, no matter where you are, it is always far away.

Some question how this is possible; if a place exists, should it not logically follow that you can go there? Others retort that it is somewhat like a rainbow, which can be seen but never reached. Those people largely ignore theories of leprechauns and their gold at the end of said rainbows.

In any case, while it is impossible to actually traverse the Northern Farway, it is still useful as a navigational tool because it's position never changes in relation to you. No matter where you are, the Farway will always be a far north of you, and as such you will always be able to find north if you can see the Farway. In some circles it has replaced stars as the preferred method of navigation.

The Northern Farway appears in Nobody's Fool, an episode of The Wizbits. In the episode, the Wizbits use it to find the Castle of Drafty Winds.
