Operation Quick Resolution

 

Once a regular war in a forgotten country in Battal, leaders on both sides promised that the battle would be over in a matter of days, hence the name.

 

But it dragged on.

 

And on.

 

And on and on and on and on.

 

Eventually the war itself existed for so long and grew so big, it split off from Battal (possibly via the intervention of the Hierarchs), and became a plane of existence unto itself, where the battle is still raging eons later. And will likely continue to rage for all eternity.
