Panty-Waste

A derogatory name for a fan of the ELotH:TES books who only came to the series after the highly commercial and continuity light Book 5: The Underpants of the Underdeep. The book was not well-received by hardcore fans, who felt that it cheapened an otherwise serious canon, and so fans who came on board at this time and who have never read the previous books in the series are generally considered somehow lesser or inferior to the true hardcore fans.
