The Pig's Annoyance

The Pig's Annoyance is a pub run by Inago and his family, located in downtown Middleclang in the kingdom of Mandleclang. It is full of travellers, failed Furniliar, braggarts and drunks. The most famous of these being Dogus Brankorking. It was also host to a few sexually frustrated scholars, such as Ulfulaz the Historian.

The staff of the Pig's Annoyance are known for both courteous service and low sexual standards. Because of the geographical isolation of Middleclang, the serving women are rather easily impressed. Serafina Haberdasheron, supporting heroine of Book 5 and Book 6 of the The Elemenstor Cycle, retired from adventuring by working here.

Those that know of these low standards in the valley rarely tell others of it, for fear that someone of actual renown, title or physical hygiene might come along and ruin all of it for them. This was nearly accomplished by Duane the talking lance, who swore to tell all of the denizens of Middleclang "what a den of sputtering arseholders this entire armpit of a valley is!". Luckily for the Pig's Annoyance, the talking lance proceeded to get incoherently drunk and forget the entire affair.
