Psichotics

Psichotics is a variant ruleset introduced by the supplement Player's Guide To Psichotics. It is still considered heavily controversial by hardcore fans who beleive it doesn't fit the theme of ELotH:TES, however since those fans are NOT buying things, instead of buying things, they have mostly been ignored as Psichotics are slowly making their way onto collectible cards as well as new novels in the ELotH:TES family.

A practicioner of Psichotics draws his or her abilities by using the power of the mind. These include abilities such as:

  • Telekinesis: lift, pushing, or pulling things with an invisible force using the power of the mind.
  • Pyrokinesis: causing things to burst into flames without flint or tinder using the power of the mind
  • Limited Clairvoyance: Glimpsing a possible future using the power of the mind.
  • Limited Telepathy: reading from or writing to anothers mind using the power of the mind
  • Vibe Reading: predernatural catching-on to nonverbal clues given off by others using the power of the mind

A practicioner of Psichotics is called a Psicho. A Psicho has powers that work in a much simpler and more intuitive system than that of Elemenstation, which also adds to their apparant following. A Psicho has a group of effects, gaining new ones each level, and casting them with Psi Points, until they run out and the Psicho is tapped until he/she can rest for a night and has all his/her points back.

A Psicho generally thinks he/she is much cooler than an Elemenstor, however, this is false, as Psichos are generally very, very lame.

An official press release from Realmworlds Publishing took place at a Space Elemen-Station 04 panel as to the fate of Psichotics in the ELotH:TES world.

"Psichotics are not only cool, but they also attract to our game and series the untapped market of crystal wavers and UFO fanatics that we were lacking a market share in before. Not only that, but they also appeal to the hardcore player who is looking for even more ways to make a 'totally sick' character by level 3, now if you can honestly tell me you wouldn't like to make a 'totally sick' character with the ability to turn himself immortal through a loophole combination of both Elemenstation and Psichotics, go ahead."

The crowd was stunned silent, and later mobbed the salesfloors of the convention where the newly minted Player's Guide To Psichotics was just put on sale.

I've played a Psichotic before and it works fairly well, unfortunately I can't find a GM that will let me play one anymore. I will agree however, Elemenstors are cooler. -bfg00-
