R'kakr'kaka'kazak Bogyn

Creator of Bogyn's Nastiness Scale, Bogyn was a Dwarf explorer, an unusual occupation for a dwarf. Young R'kakr'kaka'kazak was struck with wander lust at an early age, mostly due to an overbearing mother and an insane stepfather.

Bogyn then set out to discover new places across Battal, however anal-retentive map designers had already charted most of the world before he even stepped outside his door. Bogyn was not disheartened though, and continued to trudge on in a straight line, not letting anything stop him. His unusual ability to breathe underwater thanks to some mer-heritage deep in his ancestry assisted him in his resolve to never differ from his course.

Along his journey, Bogyn encountered a number of Creatures, ranging from the delicious Abominable Snowcone to the smelly Ghoulash to the majestic Griffin, Bogyn encountered and studied them all (and they usually studied the business end of his mace if they weren't too careful).

Bogyn eventually married a minotaur lass and settled down on the outskirts of New Capitol City to write his memoirs - There and NEVER Back Again. He also used the riches and fame he acquired in his journey to set up a menagerie on the outskirts of the city, the Rim Park Zoo, which continued to be one of the main draws of tourists into the city for millenia.

Bogyn enjoyed tofu, and writing complex haiku about the various monsters he encountered. He also had a thing for other men's wives that got him in trouble more than once.

Bogyn spawned a small family of sturdy, cow-like dwarves and dwarf-like minotaur that could breathe underwater. His grandson B'ndib'ndicot Bogyn tried to follow in his footsteps but was overtaken by greed and ambition in acquiring new specimens for the zoo. His tragic demise and foolhardy arrogance are depicted in several chapters of the The Grand Elemenstor of Magic, as he ends up being a rival of sorts for the main character, coincidentally acquiring the same 9 ingredents for his zoo that Plabin Arcanum requires for the Magic Wand.
