Requests for Deletion

So you accidentally spelled the page title wrong on your latest creation. There are two pages with the exact same content, and there should only be one. You've found an orphan page without a single scrap of content. And you don't know what to do about it.

Post a link here with a brief description of why the page should be deleted, and an admin will come along and banish it into the void.

Before you post, though, ask yourself these three questions:

1. Am I requesting deletion because I think an article is stupid, offensive, out of canon, unfunny, or simply not to my taste?

Don't post here, then. We have Disputed Pages for that. Create a discussion page over there and talk it out with the community. If the community deems the page unfit and unrepairable, a mod or admin will take care of it.

2. Is it on orphan pages already?

Then it's already been brought to our attention.

3. Did I remember to write why this page should be deleted?

If it's a dupe or it's spelled wrong or something not immediately obvious like that, odds are the first mod to come across it won't have a clue why he or she should delete it, and will just leave it alone.

If a page has been deleted, you can go ahead and move it to the deleted pages archive. That way, if anyone ever wonders why something is gone, they'll know.

Someone typed elendendium (Yes, all lower case) on the Elements page (I fixed) and of course I goofed and created another page before noticing there was already one with the correct initial caps, so the all lower case page is sort of redundant (Sorry!) -- Simon
I posted a cheesy little flash jigsaw puzzle last night that had a small error in it. I fixed the error, but am unable to delete or overwrite the erroneous files: Battal_Jigsaw.html, Battal_Jigsaw.swf, Battal_Jigsaw.fla. I'm guessing those people who can delete pages may also delete files.
Removed. And don't sell yourself sort! It may be cheesy, but it cleverly reflects canon. I think it's cool. ~Lucres
I've de-linked the Deleted Pages Archive, so it won't show up under broken links. ~ Charmy
Particularly unwomenly women folkbecause i was stupid and dint capitalyse it correctly
Elemenstation and Types of Elemenstation could probably do with being merged
My only reason for seperating them is because I include the page on elemenstation in the wiki book, but not the entry of types of elemenstation. one is an index page, the other is a content page and I'm trying to keep them seperate whereever I can. -Tim
Cool. Also, the page ELotH:TES - I can see why someone would make it, but it's kind of redundant. The front page and introductions already cover this sort of thing, and anyone who makes it to this page has already figured out what the acronym stands for. ~Niall
So do you think we should nuke it or expand it to cover something actually interesting? -Tim
Actually, never mind. The Saga Timeline page has several entries for abbreviations, so I'll just link it back there.
Could someone do me a favor and delete Pishant Quasar Hatcery? I mispelled the title.
done!
Could someone please delete Elemenstruation: A Magic Tale for Young Women? You'll have to paste the title directly into the URL because of a glitch concerning colons in wiki page titles. I created a replacement page with a dash in the filename instead of a colon, moved the old page's content there and changed all the links to the old page to point to the new one.
It's done. In the future, go ahead and put it under "Pages Up for Deletion," makes it easier to see what page needs to be taken care of. Thanks! -Kenneth Pike
Actually that happens with all of the names with :'s in them. We should probably do something to rectify this. -bfg00-
I took Ice Elemenstors off the list, I think it's a humorous redirect. Feel free to disagree if you want. d^_^b ~Kenneth Pike

Did like, the delete button disappear or something? I'm trying to get rid of elendendium and I can't figure out how. I could have sworn I saw a "delete" button a while ago. Maybe it's because I'm sick.

The only deletion button I've ever seen is on the "All Pages" page (appears to the left of the page names), but that page appears to not handle the size of this Wiki very well. I can't get it to come up. d-_-b
