Richard Gray
"God, what a doormat. Good thing she's just some salary-man's eye candy and trauma sponge. So, where's that chick J.L. picked out to co-write?" - Richard Gray, upon meeting Izumi Suzuki
A newcomer to the ELOTH:TES stable of authors, Richard Gray made his name penning the borderline-obscene action/adventure/brutality comic Guignol Geodisic Dome, later adapted into the hit off-Broadway play Guignol Geodisic Dome: The Musical. Prior to the announcement of Elemenstor Gearstrike's list of authors, Gray was only known among the community as one of James Langomedes's correspondences; Gearstrike is the first Elemenstor-Saga-related work that he's been involved with, although he is intimately familiar with Who Watches The Wizbits? and certain episodes of the cartoon.
Thus far, Richard Gray has had the hardest time adjusting to Japan, as his knowledge of the country and its language is wholly derived from reports about Japan's assorted eccentricities and debaucheries. While he is rarely overtly rude, his bold misconceptions have resulted in a few dramatic combats, which lets him fit in with the American writing team just fine; Richard's greatest asset has not been his writing skills but his almost preternatural mastery of Tae Bo and his own unique style of martial arts, Drink Drink Revolution.
Most believe Gray was selected by Langomedes to add some frentic action to the new series, although his most major contribution thus far has been regularly emptying the vending machines and convincing all his Japanese coworkers to refer to him as "Dick Gray-san."
