Rick Casten

Often referred to as the co-creator of Megawangokyo, Casten was brought in by Ken Nordris around the start of the series to tighten up the story, character development, and direction of the series, of which there was none at the time. Most staples of the Megawangokyo series are inventions of Casten's. In fact, nearly everything that happens from the time the characters arrive at Megawangokyo to the middle of episode 4 was dreamed up by Casten himself.

Casten died in 2002 for reasons which are still not entirely known. His death was mentioned only briefly in a newspost on the website, and fans have been able to uncover very little.
