Rick Horwell

Rick Horwell is an actor who voices the character Skip for the North American cartoon series "The Wizbits."

Rick Horwell is universally loathed within ELotH:TES fandom for his later attempts to capitalize on this role. He is known for showing up unannounced (and uninvited) to various Elemenstor related conventions and events, invariably dressed in a store bought Skip costume. This is purportedly an unsettling sight as, unlike the lanky character whose voice he provided, Mr. Horwell is rather rotund and has apparently taken no measures to have the costume let out.

A mystery of some interest is the true identity of the person inside the plush Blunder costume who has, on several occasions, accompanied Mr. Horwell to these events.

Rick Horwell and James Langomedes were in fact classmates during Langomedes brief stay at Eton College and it has been suggested that this connection perhaps aided Horwell in landing the conveted voicing role in The Wizbits despite a complete dearth of prior voice acting work, or work of any kind for that matter. Legal counsel for Mr. Langomedes has however stated publicly that Mr. Langomedes had no recollection of having met Mr. Horwell prior to his having been hired to work on the series and pointed to a 2001 restraining order against Mr. Horwell forbidding him from attempting to contact Mr. Langomedes as evidence against any "old-boys network" ties.
