The Rules of Noble Wagering

The Rules of Noble Wagering are used to reduce occurences of cheating in betting. After the bet is made, each of the wagerers hold out their wager between both hands. This ensures two things: firstly, it means that they cannot meddle in the events being wagered upon. Secondly, it gives both parties something to fight with if the bet is too close to be called. For these reasons the Filleroon is the prefered wager.
