Shield of Modest Effort

Cut from two or three different but pretty close to the same kind of oak, forged on a moderately priced anvil picked up from a fairly respectable anvil dealership, and fashioned together by the competent hands of the assistant smith of Delberry, the Shield of Modest Effort did come to be. It took the greater part of an afternoon with only two fifteen minute breaks to finish this shield, it is now in the possession of a one Private Major Thomas Grinkleferry who purchased it for a reasonable sum to afford its average protection on the field of battle.
