Slip and Grip Games

A term used to describe a whole host of games played by children of Battal that use Mittens of Gripping and Mittens of Slipping and a leather ball. In some games teams are divided into positions, some of which slip, while others grip. Other games pit a team of slippers versus a team of grippers.

Examples of Slip and Grip games are:

• Run and Sneak
• Dropsy Kickers
• Salted Bench
