Large and flacid stubby branches project outward from the main trunk, and at the end of each branch is a gaping hole, from which putrecent thick fluids spew forcefully at inopportune moments. An elaborate root network extends from the tree and snakes through rocks, over and under ground, and down to the sweet sea.
