Description
Suntor is usually depicted as a handsome dwarf with golden hair and wearing a splendid golden crown. Depending on setting he is either seated on a glorious throne in royal garb or wearing forge gear working at an anvil. Suntor is the son of Wednesrok and Saturkaz and the older brother of Thurskurk. Suntor gained supremacy in the Dwarven Pantheon for originally creating dwarves and giving them the unparalleled ability to forge epic works.
As being the High-King of the Dwarven Gods Suntor is the most frequently invoked of all the gods by dwarves. Beyond that a libation is poured at the beginning and end of any craft project in honor of him. Also in any royal action a prayer is uttered to him. The day of Sunday is named in his honor.
