Sword of Great Explosions

A paragon of stunningly poor weapons design, the Sword of Great Explosions was created by Blacksmith Smithy Blackfinger of Skyfinger as his greatest weapon--a blast of pure energy powerful enough to level a house would be released with each mighty slash of this blade.

One test swing later, Blackfinger's shop was annihilated along with the blacksmith himself.

So, you know, 10 out of 10 for style, but... Also, it seems like the problem wasn't so much the design of the weapon as the weapons testing program. ~toshi.m
