Indeed, the far-reaching, mysterious powers of the Depraved Stave are believed to have spread from the tomes of ELotH:TES and into the real world; many psychologists suspect that be the root cause of some of the more deviant sexual techniques that have plagued humanity since the creation of The Elemenstor Saga.

A single blow from the Depraved Stave causes a dramatic change in the behaviour of the victim. They suddenly acquire the urge to furnicate vigorously with any object within a ten-meter radius; on the rare occasion that they can overcome this urge and attempt to carry a conversation, their speech is laced with inappropriate comments and innuendo.
