The Elementalist

Published in 1984, the story is of a world driven by Elemental Magic and those who manipulate it, the Elementalists. Particularly, this story takes place in a world known as Shielden and follows the exploits of Mr. Portent, a secret Elementalist who takes it upon himself to heal the cracked world in which he lives.

A certain similarity to The Sundering of Vhaxdi, published by Realmworlds Publishing, was noted and a subsequent lawsuit was filed. The suit was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.
