The Holy Hoagie

As the end-goal of many adventures, The Holy Hoagie is said to have fallen from the heavens. Hidden in an ancient temple in a remote part of Battal and guarded by the Fighting Monks of the Fighting Mountain, it is said that it can only be eaten by the True Hero of Legend. The Hoagie mysteriously disappeared in The Trial at Elddim's Peak (book 7), a storyline that was never resolved in the original thirteen book cycle.
