The Influence of Marketing Pressures on the Evolution of ElamenSTAR and its Influence on the Localization of the Wizbits

Summary

An interestingly look at how the ElamenSTAR series evolved over time from a relatively pristine (and largely canon) extention of the ELotH:TES Universe, and gradually changed, allowing anachronistic and wholely out of place elements to creep into the story world to create elements of narrative solely driven by marketing forces, such as product placement. Looking through this lens the differences between the Wizbits Cartoon, Seasons 1 through 3 and the ElemenSTAR corresponding episodes is analyzed, and it is posited that had the ElamenSTAR episodes been remade in the climate which informed its own later episodes, it would have included several of the changes made in this light that appeared in the American series.
