The Sundering of Vhadxi

The first novel set in the elothtes universe, written by Realmworlds Publishing co-founder J. Krakins. The book was first written to explore the period of history of Battal known as The Sundering, but later publications were found to contradict this seminal work. It was loosely based on the massively successful Monsters of the Hierarchs toyline, and released timely to cash in on the buzz of the toys.

Revisionist History

Rather than edit their own work to fit the mythology created by Krakins' original work, the authors of later ELotH:TES works would instead promote a campaign of revisionist history ideology which would explore the possibility that later ELotH:TES authors could go back and time and destroy this work before it was ever published. This movement is theorized to have caused the 1601 death of Tycho Brahe. But who can tell with time travel anyways? That stuff is wacky.

Notable Differences

• The term Battal does not actually appear here, rather The Shield and Sickle are used to describe the conjoined lands.
• Krakins makes reference to the term Elemenstor, although no Elemenstor characters play a major part in the novel, rather they are mainly discussed as a group in several notable regressions from the plot.
• The term High Elemenstor was used to refer to what would later be called Grand Elemenstors, and their leader had the title of Harbinger, where as all other practitioners of Elemenstation were merely Elemenstors, which in current literature is a bit of a put-down.
• The currency of the land is rubian shards which everyone carries in a change purse called a Santorum.
• Heart is the central element upon which all magics in this realm are based.
