Summary

The first episode of Season II saw the Wizbits return with enhanced versions of their previous Elemenstoring powers, and boy do they need them! The kids find themselves tricked into traveling to the Valley of the Varnak in the Ruins of Blee. Thinking that they were recovering the Lost Ring Of Great Sentimental Value from a kindly old woman living in the valley, they soon discover that all the residents are mindless zombies under the control of a spell cast by the evil Varnak, a 6 tentacle clawed, winged beast who was magically wearing the guise of the old woman.

Quick thinking on Skip's part saves Penny from an untimely death at the hands of some angry villagers and at the end of the episode when the Varnak is revealed, they all "kick it into overgear" and finish the beast off.

Moral

Notes

• The multicolored bobble hat that Blunder is seen wearing for eight frames just before the first ad break is the infamous "102nd hat", the only hat (and possibly the only thing in the whole series) not officially available as a piece of Wizbits merchandise. However, fan-made knitting patterns for the hat are available for all sizes of Blunder plush toy.
